Installer Transaction Partner

Purchase approved EDM Solutions meters directly from EDM Solutions or through an approved EDM distributor, find your own customers, install, commission and register the meters, then earn 3% from qualifying monthly transactions generated by active meters linked to your installer profile.

  • Proposed qualification begins at 20 active, commissioned meters.
  • The 3% is calculated from successful monthly meter transactions—not the meter purchase price.
  • If no qualifying transactions occur in a month, no commission is payable for that month.
  • Reversed, refunded, failed or disputed transactions are excluded.
  • A monthly partner statement shows linked meters, transaction totals and the amount payable.
The recurring benefit belongs to the approved installer who installs, commissions and registers the qualifying meter under their installer profile. The same partner account cannot also operate as a distributor.

Distributor & Retail Partner

Purchase approved EDM Solutions meters at discounted partner pricing, resell them to your customers and earn through the difference between your distributor price and your selling price.

  • Access approved distributor or retailer pricing.
  • Build margin through meter resale and related services.
  • Suitable for electrical suppliers, plumbing suppliers, contractors and retail outlets.
  • The distributor earns through discounted pricing and does not receive the recurring installer 3%.
  • Order quantities, payment terms and discount levels are approved by EDM Solutions.
A separate approved installer may purchase the meter from the distributor, install and register it under their installer profile, and qualify for the recurring 3% transaction benefit.

The commission follows the meter portfolio registered under the approved installer profile. It is performance-based and calculated from actual successful transactions reported for the month.

This is not a salary or guaranteed monthly payment. It is recurring partner income connected to the successful transactions generated by qualifying meters registered under your profile.

Working meters only

The meter must be correctly installed, registered, commissioned and operational before it becomes eligible.

Actual transactions only

Commission is calculated only from completed qualifying transactions. No transaction means no commission for that reporting month.

Separate partner benefits

The distributor earns through discounted meter pricing. A separate approved installer may earn the recurring 3% by correctly installing, commissioning and registering the meter under their installer profile.

Monthly statement

EDM Solutions issues a monthly report showing linked meters, qualifying transactions, adjustments and the amount payable.

Approval required

Submission does not guarantee acceptance. EDM Solutions verifies the applicant before creating a permanent partner profile.

Account after approval

A partner number, customer account and payment reference are created only after the application and supporting documents are approved.

Is the installer 3% based on the meter selling price?

No. The 3% is calculated from qualifying successful monthly transactions generated by active meters registered under the approved installer profile.

What happens when there are no transactions during the month?

The monthly statement will show no qualifying transaction value and no commission will be payable for that reporting month.

Can a meter purchased from a distributor qualify for the installer 3%?

Yes. A distributor earns through discounted pricing and resale margin. A separate approved installer may qualify for the recurring 3% after installing, commissioning and registering the meter under their installer profile. The same partner account cannot be both a distributor and an installer.

When will I receive my permanent EDM partner number?

After the application and supporting documents are approved. The first submission creates only an application reference and an internal review ticket.
