Electrician

• Perform electrical installations on residential, commercial and utility sites. • Install, replace, test and commission prepaid electricity meters. • Conduct electrical inspections, maintenance, repairs and fault finding. • Install and maintain distribution boards, circuit breakers, earth leakage protection and electrical accessories. • Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical instructions. • Test completed electrical work and accurately record the results. • Apply SANS 10142 and relevant occupational health and safety requirements. • Identify unsafe or non-compliant installations and report the corrective work required. • Complete job cards, inspection reports, material records and project documentation. • Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, supervisors and project managers. • Protect and maintain company tools, testing equipment, stock and vehicles. • Assist with emergency call-outs, planned projects and technical support when required. • Follow EDM Solutions operational, safety, quality and customer-service procedures.
